Argentina Honeymoon: Days 1-3 Upon arrival at Ezeiza International Airport, your representative will be on hand to escort you to your waiting private vehicle for the transfer to the hotel. Welcome to Buenos Aires!
This afternoon enjoy a walking tour around the hotel area. Walk along Alvear Avenue with your guide and discover this beautiful and elegant district, where you will find some of the best shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries and hotels as well. The tour will include a coffee at La Biela café, a traditional place in Buenos Aires. Remainder of the day at leisure. In the evening your guide will pick you up by the hotel for a very special and romantic dinner at Casa Cruz. Argentina Honeymoon: Day 2 Breakfast at the hotel. Today, meet your guide at the lobby of the hotel to begin a full day sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires. Start at the most important square of the country, the Plaza de Mayo (May Square). Here, where the country was founded in 1580, the most important governmental buildings are located, including the Casa Rosada (Pink House), the Cabildo (City Hall) and the Catedral Metropolitana (Metropolitan Cathedral). Continue towards the picturesque district of La Boca, with its famous Caminito Street, one of the few outdoor museums in the world. There, numerous artists exhibit their works whose theme has to do with the influence of the European citizens (mainly Italians), that arrived at their port at the end of the XIX century.
The visit continues to San Telmo neighbourhood, one of the oldest of the city. This neighbourhood maintains a great part of its architectonic patrimony intact: its colonial style houses, its cobbled streets. After visiting San Telmo the tour continues to the northern area of the city to visit the Palermo Parks and Recoleta, the most elegant neighbourhood of the city. Drive towards Palermo, a district with different faces: a classic one in Palermo Chico and a modern one in Palermo Hollywood and Soho. See its beautiful parks and gardens. Elegant mansions surrounded by green areas. We will pass by the Parque 3 de febrero (February the 3rd Park), the Biblioteca Nacional (National Library) and the Facultad de Derecho (Law School). Continue to La Recoleta, one of the most elegant and sophisticated districts. Here you will visit 'Nuestra Señora del Pilar' Church and the Recoleta Cemetery, known worldwide due to its rich architecture and the famous personalities of the Argentine history and society that are buried there. Lunch will be included at Cabaña Las Lilas restaurant in Puerto Madero. Return to the hotel and enjoy some time at leisure. Tango: the authentic music of Buenos Aires. Its origins are traced back to 1880 and its birthplace were the slums, inhabited by Italian and Spanish immigrants, Africans and “gauchos”. From this racial mix appeared the “compadritos” (small-time hoods) who tried to reflect in their music, their letters and their dance, the typical “cuchilleros” (knife fighters) duel characteristic of their social ambient.
This afternoon enjoy a tango lesson. Join Mayoral & Elsa María, the world famous dancers at their incredible early 1900s French-style mansion. This Tony Award-winning couple are the best people in Buenos Aires to teach the art of tango, whether they are novices or experienced dancers. Their impressive celebrity client list includes Bill & Hillary Clinton, Liza Minelli, and Whoopi Goldberg among others. This evening, enjoy a special dinner at Esquina Carlos Gardel, where VIP seats will be arranged for you. Elegance and splendor share every corner of this dazzling place. Upon arrival your guide will be at hand to transfer you to Ezeiza airport to board your international flight back home.

Days 7-9 Breakfast at the Hosteria. In due time a representative of the Hosteria will take you to Corientes airport for you flight towards Buenos Aires, where you will connect and board you flight to Salta. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Welcome to the Northwest
Known worldwide for its magnificent natural sceneries and the settlements where time seems to have stopped, this area gives travelers the possibility to date back to the times of colonization. Tapestries, textiles in fine threads, sheep, llama or alpaca wool ponchos, gold and silver works and baskets with vegetal fiber are some of the typical crafts tourists can purchase in the area. Another attraction of singular beauty and color are the popular festivals, during which pagan rituals are held honoring Pacha Mama –“mother earth”– with delicious regional dishes. Situated at 183 km away from the capital city of the province through Nº 68 National Road, Cafayate is the main city in the district of Cafayate and has become the most important site in the Calchaquí Valleys. Over the way up to this town we will pass through the towns of Cerrillos, La Merced and El Carril that owns an invaluable history. We will also visit Coronel Moldes were we will stop to walk around to appreciate colonial architecture of XIX century very near of Dique Cabra Corral (Cabra Corral Dam). After this visit we will continue to Posta de las Cabras and then continue to Alemania.
This tour includes Quebrada de las Conchas (Conchas Gorge) one of the most important tourist attractions in our province. The majesty of its colorful landscape and the interesting geological and cultural history make this route a classic for travelers. Recent archaeological research carried out by UNSA researchers in The Gorge of Las Conchas proved the existence of a beautiful Inca path stretch a few meters away from the national road 68. This is one more attraction for tourists and visitors who wish to closely experience the nature of these paths, which amazed both the Spanish conquerors and researchers and travelers of all time. We continue up to Cafayate where travelers will have lunch, followed by a visit to a winery and walk around the main square. After this we will return Salta by the same road and visit as we said Cabra Corral Dam. Day 9 Breakfast at the hotel Today you will have the opportunity to choose one of the following excursions. 1.- Cachi (Full Day Tour) After breakfast your guide will pick you up at your hotel to continue your trip towards Cachi. It is a beautiful town in the Calchaquí Valley of Salta on the east slope of Nevado Hill at 6,720m above the sea level.
Over the Tin Tin stretch we will take the road of Los Colorados to enjoy a different landscape colored orange towards Cachi. Once there we will visit this little town and have lunch. Back in Salta we will visit the Cachi Runway and the Cemetery where there is a Valley Panoramic view. On Cuesta del Obispo natural balcony we will make an stop to contemplate the view and the flight of Condors (if they are there). 2.- Humahuaca Gorge (Full Day Tour) Located to the northwest of Argentina, in the Jujuy Province. The Humahuaca Gorge is the perfect combination of spectacular landscape and archaeological richness. It runs about 155 km from north to south, and the Rio Grande River advances through the heart of the region. It is dry in the winter and abundant in the summertime. We will get here by the antique 9 Road through Campo Algre and La Cienaga Dam. We will then continue up to Volcan, to keep on up to Huajra. After relaxing break, we will visit Tumbaya and Purmamarca, a small village from the beginning of the XVII century, of prehispanic origin, located at 2192 meters above sea level. Purmamarca - meaning "Town of the Virgin Land" in Aimara language- is settled at the foot of the polychromatic " Cerro de los Siete Colores" ( Seven Colors Hill ). In Tilcara we will have lunch, visiting Uquia and the church. After lunch, a visit to the town and the Pucara Ruins and the depart to Salta. On our way, we will visit Posta Los Hornillos, then continuing by the 9 road up to Maimara and the “Paleta del Pintor” to arrive during the afternoon at Jujuy city to walk around the main square and visit the historic buildings.

There are six rooms in the main house and three small bungalows within 50 meters of it, all with private bathrooms and most with sitting rooms. The main house has a large indoor living room, a screened veranda living room, a large indoor dining room, a terrace dining area, and a children's game room. On the grounds are a swimming pool, a screened barbecue house, and a barn with tack room from which all our rides depart. High ceiling and tiled floors keep the house cool inside and the subtropical heat at bay.
At Hosteria Socorro, the preparation and presentation of food is of the utmost importance. They go to great lengths to provide healthful, top quality meals. Our vegetables and fruits come largely from the organic garden, picked just before they are prepared. In August, guests enjoy freshly made passion fruit ice cream, a specialty of the house. All of our breads and pastries are home made. The standard is to provide the same high quality food and eating experience one would find in the finest restaurants in Buenos Aires. There are a huge number of activities available at Rincon del Socorro for you to choose from. We have detailed some, but you may choose which and when you would like to join . Bird Watching Much to the surprise of several ornithologists, the nearly extinct yellow cardinal can be seen hopping around in the lettuces in the organic garden! The estimated number of species identified in the Esteros del Ibera ecological system is nearly 400, and though we are still in the process of doing an inventory of the birdlife found in Socorro, we do know that a good percentage of those counted can be found on the estancia. Horse back riding Boat and Canoe trips Nestled among native trees at the edge of the laguna, the bungalow barbeque area serves as the dock for all of our boat trips and the perfect spot to have a full asado lunch or light picnic before or after a boat trip.
