Cambodia Compassion Day 1: Phnom Penh, Cambodia Our representative will meet you at the Phnom Penh airport, and you will head straight to your hotel along the riverside.
Day 2: Phnom Penh, Cambodia Welcome to your first day in Cambodia! This country has one of the most resilient narratives in modern history. Delve deep into the cultural psyche as we visit historical sites that tell the tales of both tragedy and triumph.
You will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields during the first half of the day and hear the firsthand stories of survival from your local guides. After lunch, you will meet your tuk tuk driver who will be waiting to take you through the city. The next stop will be the Royal Palace, home to the Silver Pagoda and the famously disputed Emerald Buddha. Learn the fascinating story behind its authenticity.
Your chariots await! You’ll hop back aboard and tuk tuk your way through the city to Wat Phnom. At this hill top temple, look for Sambo the elephant and view the city as the sun sets and clouds of incense drift by.

Cambodia Compassion Day 6: Siem Reap, Cambodia Before you depart Kampong Cham, you will either visit one of the unique local temples or go for a bicycle ride across the famous Bamboo Bridge to nearby Paen Island. Enjoy lunch along the Mekong River and then head north to the ancient city of Siem Reap.
Day 7: Siem Reap, Cambodia Rise and shine for your 4 AM wake up call. Head out early so that you can catch one of the most spectacular sunrises you will ever see, over Angkor Wat -- one of the man-made wonders of the world. You’ll be a little sleepy at first, but this will quickly wear off with the cool air blowing past your face in the back of your tuk tuk. Once the sun rises and you’ve snapped more than enough photos, enjoy breakfast near the temple, and then explore Angkor Thom -- made famous by Angelina Jolie in the movie "Tomb Raider.” After this exciting day of temple hopping, you will head to dinner downtown and to the famous Siem Reap Night Market.
Day 8 Transfer will be organized to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure home.
Cambodia Compassion Days 3-5: Kampong Cham, Cambodia This morning, venture through the Russian Market -- a place that has just about everything! After a few hours here, jump in your van and head north to the sleepy riverside town of Kampong Cham. Along the way, make a roadside stop for a local delicacy -- some fried tarantulas!
