Day 1: Arrival in Cancun

You will be welcomed by your professional naturalist guide in Cancun International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Puerto Morelos or Cancun. Receive a briefing about activities, security, and other important details.

Enjoy dinner at your hotel and a relaxing evening in town.

Day 2: Snorkeling and Jungle Hike

Breakfast will be at 8:00am, followed by a brief lecture on coral reefs. By 10:00 am, you’ll be in the water snorkeling on the second-largest reef in the world. Find a wide diversity of corals and fish, including impressive barracudas and angelfish.

After snorkeling, enjoy lunch at Pelicanos restaurant in the laid-back town of Puerto Morelos.

After lunch, get ready for an afternoon hike into the jungle. Discover unique plants and animals, such as spider moneys and other interesting wildlife.

Dinner will be at the hotel at 7:00pm.

Day 6: Ek Balam, Holbox and Cancun

Enjoy a city tour of Valladolid in the morning.

After lunch, depart to see the local Mayan community of Ek Balam. Learn about their local projects and take a swim in the local cenotes.

Return and overnight in Cancun.

Day 7: Whale Shark Tour

Enjoy a fantastic boat trip to snorkel with the biggest fish in the world -- the amazing but harmless whale shark.

You may also snorkel with one of the fastest fish in the world – the sailfish.

Travel back to Cancun to relax and enjoy the beach in the afternoon.

Day 8: Departure from Cancun

Transfer to your international flight departing Cancun.

Day 3: Tulum and Sian Ka’an

After breakfast at your hotel, discover the archaeological site of Tulum. Then snorkel in the amazing Grand Cenote with its crystal clear water full of stalagmites and stalactites.

Enjoy dinner at your hotel, followed by an evening departure to the research station of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Enjoy a special night hike at the beach in order to view and participate in the marine turtle project. You’ll have the opportunity to adopt a turtle to support the program.

The second option for this evening is to enjoy a special night kayaking tour in the wetlands to search for crocodiles!

Day 4: Bird Watching and Caba

Begin the morning at 6:00am with a bird watching hike. After breakfast, embark on a bike expedition through the reserve to discover its unique wildlife.

In the afternoon depart to Coba.

Explore the lagoon’s crocodiles during a fascination night hike.

Day 5: Coba and Rio Lagartos

Begin the morning with another optional bird watching tour at 6:00am. After breakfast, travel to Rio Lagartos Reserve and observe local species, including pink flamingos and other exotic animals.

Overnight in Valladolid – a wonderful old colonial town.
