Q: Are you a travel agency?

A: No, we are not a travel agency. We are a boutique travel designer that specializes in high quality travel and philanthropy.

Q: What sets you apart from larger brands?

A: We provide very personalized service and itineraries. We are not a high volume organization, so every client is treated with the utmost attention and care. We care about the quality of our client’s experience, just as we care about the quality of life where we go.

Q: How does travel philanthropy work?

A: We donate 5% of the net costs of all our trips to screened non-profits that are working to preserve the resources of our destination countries. We also organize donor trips for US based non-profits with overseas projects.

Q: Why don’t more travel providers contribute to non-profits?

A: The sustainable travel movement is growing. We hope that more and more travel services will recognize the value of investing in host resources and wellbeing.

A: Please see our trips for a description for our destinations and sample itineraries. And check back regularly. We will be adding new destinations every year. To stay most current, sign up for our newsletter.

Q: Who are your guides overseas?

A: Our guides are close friends and associates of Elevate Destinations. They are selected for their specialized knowledge and training; on-ground relationships; and appealing personal qualities.

Q: Do you have set departure dates?

A: We have some set departure dates, but also custom design trips for families and groups.

Q: How do I find out about travel insurance and vaccinations?

A: Once you have committed to a trip, we will send you all the necessary information and trips details: insurance, vaccinations, clothing needs as part of your itinerary.

Q: What if I want to get more involved with a non-profit overseas?

A: We can provide complete information and contacts for our non-profit recipients as well as other NGO’s.

Q: Is my contribution to the non-profits you work with tax deductible?

A: Yes.
