The Norfolk Hotel has played a leading role in Kenya's colorful history, and continues to be Nairobi's finest and best-known hotel. The town and later the modern city of Nairobi grew up around The Norfolk hotel, which still has its own private tropical gardens. The hotel is still the traditional starting point for safaris and the Lord Delamere Terrace is modern Nairobi's most famous meeting place, where drinks and light meals are served continuously from morning until midnight. Dinner by own arrangements. Overnight at the Norfolk Hotel.
Day Two: Sunday, August 22 Nairobi- Lewa House, Lakipia Morning: You will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your domestic flight to Lewa Downs. Lewa House is set on the 45,000 acre privately owned Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Situated against the dramatic backdrop of the snow-covered massif of Mt Kenya and with the magnificent Northern Frontier District stretching out to the North, Lewa is an outstanding destination, offering spectacular scenery, superb game viewing and exciting activities. The conservancy, formerly a working cattle ranch and otherwise known as Lewa Downs, has been in the Craig family since 1924.
